Palacio Urgoiti, a luxurious 11-acre retreat and 4-star hotel located in the beautiful Basque countryside of Northern Spain, was formerly a 17th century palace before its careful restoration as a hotel.
Offering the perfect balance between warmth and the comfort of state-of-the-art facilitites, the hotel has 43 spacious and bright rooms boasting spectacular views of the mountains and beaches of the Basque seaside. It is unique in every aspect, from its magnificent building and elegant decor to its history. Originally located in Galdakao until the end of 1969, the building was moved to its present location in 2005 when the new Bilbao-Behovia motorway was constructed.In an impressive and arduous effort, all artistic elements of the original structure were meticulously preserved.
Palacio Urgoiti has a selection of leisure facilities, ideal for both business and holiday travelers, including a 9-hole "pitch & putt" golf course. A comfortable guest lounge with a fireplace and event rooms with natural light and direct access to the terrace complement the facilities. Restaurante Harria, featuring both modern and traditional Basque cuisine, offers a lovely setting with its large windows, beam ceiling, modern paintings and fireplace.
