- Open Water and Cenote Diving - Akumal Dive Center is located on Akumal beach next to Hotel Club Akumal Caribe.
- Sport Fishing - At the Akumal Dive Center or with Luis at the beach right in front of Las Casitas or at the Mayan Crafts store in the pueblo of Akumal.
- Windsurfing School - Vela Maya is located right on the beach next to the Villas Maya pool.

- Money Exchange -The closest banks are located in Playa del Carmen. Money exchange can be done in Tulum, Akumal (TSA), and Playa del Carmen. There are ATM machines in Xel-Ha, Puerto Aventuras and Playa del Carmen.
- Library -The library is open from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM Mon.-Fri. Over 4,293 books in English and Spanish are available for reference and lending.
- Children's Reading Program - Includes story hours and incentive programs where children improve their comprehension and learn to love stories. The summer program offers daily classes for elementary school children.
