Venice Maps and Directions 

Hotel Royal San Marco is located three miles south of VCE-Marco Polo Airport. Public or private transport is available. Directions from VCE are as follows:

• By private water taxi to St. Mark's Square.
• By public water bus "Alilalguna" line which goes to St. Mark's Square.
• By public bus "ACTV" line, N°5 to Piazzale Roma - Venice.

For those arriving in St. Mark's Square:
Facing the cathedral, Basilica San Marco, head towards the left (the side of Procuratie Vecchie). Pass under the opening from the square (Sotoportego Dei Dai) and pass over the Bridge Dei Dai. Follow the Calle (little road) situated ahead and you will find the main entrance of the Hotel Royal San Marco on your right.

For those arriving at Piazzale Roma:
Take the ACTV water bus line N°1 or N°2 going towards the Lido. Get off at the stop “San Marco - Calle Vallaresso” or the stop “Rialto.” Service runs every 10 minutes and the journey time is approximately 40 minutes via the Gran Canal. Service after 9:00pm is reduced to every 20 minutes. From midnight, bus line N°1 or N°2 are replaced by the service line "N". Use a Venice hotel map for further instructions.

Public Transportation

Bus:ATVO Bus is available at the Marco Polo Airport for an approximate one way cost of 3 Euros. ACTV Bus Line N°5 goes to Piazzale Roma – Venice, and then you must switch to the ACTV Water Bus Line N°1 or N°2 which goes towards the Lido and St. Mark’s Square.
Water Bus: The Alilalguna public water bus line is available at the Marco Polo Airport for an approximate one way cost of 3 Euros.
Shuttle Bus: Ali Laguna Shuttle is available at the Marco Polo Airport for an approximate one way cost of 13 Euros. The shuttle operates 24/7.
Taxi / Water Taxis: Taxis are available 24/7 at the airport
